PURPOSE:To set the responsiveness of each alarm output to an optimum to prevent misissuing alarm by providing a plurality of alarm output counting rate computing circuits, and setting the time constants of the circuits independently. CONSTITUTION:Pulse values produced at certain time intervals and integrated together by a pulse integrating circuit 1 are input to a plurality of alarm computing circuit 21-2N and an instruction computing circuit 5, to calculate a counting rate through rate calculation. Then the circuits 21-2N make computations by using standard deviations conforming to their respective alarms, with a small time constant imparted to the circuit where high-speed responsiveness is required and a great time constant imparted to the circuit where high accuracy is required. The outputs of the circuits 21-2N are input to alarm judging circuits 31-3N to determine whether or not each of the outputs exceeds a preset alarm level, and when any of the outputs exceeds the preset level, alarm signals are output to individual alarm output circuits 41-4N. The output of the circuit 5 is input to an instruction output circuit 6 and used as an instruction signal for instructions as to a recorder and a pointer.
