PURPOSE: To provide appropriate electric insulation and thermal conduction between the heat dissipation element part and other electric component parts of the housing of an AC generator being driven mechanically by applying a resin coating especially to the heat dissipation element part. CONSTITUTION: A heat dissipation element 10 of an AC generator comprises a flat part 9 for holding a rectifier assembly, and a tubular part 12 having a plurality of vents 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26 for circulating the air through an AC generator wherein the heat dissipation element 10 is coated with an epoxy resin material so that it has both electric insulation properties and thermal conduction properties. |
