PURPOSE:To provide the simple and speedy transfer means for data when editing or transferring sentences or images between different kinds of equipments. CONSTITUTION:A personal computer 1 is provided with a coordinate position designating pen 12 for designating a position on a screen at the time of editing and inside the pen 12, a RAM 14 is stored for temporarily storing data. On the other hand, the personal computer 1 is provided with an address calculation circuit 9 for calculating the address of a display memory 8 storing contents designated by the pen 12 on the screen and input/output ports 10 and 13 for transferring data between the display memory 8 and the RAM 14. At the time of editing, the data address of a picture coordinate designated by the pen is provided by the address calculation circuit 9, the address of the display memory 8 is calculated, and bidirectional data transfer is enabled between the display memory 8 and the RAM 14. |
