PURPOSE:To provide an aging method for piezoelectric element in which characteristics can be stabilized in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric element 1 comprising a piezoelectric plate and a pair of electrodes formed on the surface and the rear thereof and subjected to polarization is loaded repeatedly with the pair of electrodes being short- circuited electrically thus aging the piezoelectric element 1. When the piezoelectric element is loaded repeatedly under electrically short-circuited state, charges produced through repeated application of stress can be consumed. Consequently, mobility of crystal domain in increased resulting in stabilization of characteristics in a short time. |
