The present invention relates to a method for making a box (1), and to a box obtained, for example, by this method. This method consists in supplying elements (EU1-EU3), for example pre-covered elements, intended to form at least some of the panel sections (2) of the box, in arranging and in assembling these elements in a mould (M) in order to pre-form the definitive structure of the box, in introducing into the pre-formed box a resin (R) which is non-expansible or very slightly expansible, in liquid, viscous or semi-viscous form, then in imparting to the mould a movement for coating, intended to spread the resin over at least the contiguous regions of the assembled elements, in curing the resin, and then in removing the reconstituted and finished box from the mould. This method and this box are intended for forming a box, for packaging and/or for presenting objects, which has a high-quality appearance and whose sides and base are covered with a material such as leather or fabric. |
