The grill controlling method includes a timer for simultaneously supplying gas to the grill burner and igniting or extinguishing and combusting gas on the grill burner, a time display for displaying the rest of the set timer, and an means for indicating that the operation of the set timer is ended after the lapse of the set time. The operation of the timer is started by detecting the ignition of the grill burner, thereby providing a gas table having a timer to stop automatically the combustion of the grill burner after a predetermined period of operation time.
