Polymeric Film A polyester film comprising an essentially unfilled primary layer and a filled secondary layer exhibiting an improved combination of transparency and handling properties. The filler is silicone resin particles having a volume distributed median particle diameter of 1.5 to 12.5 .mu.m, which are present in the secondary layer at a concentration of 100 to 1000 ppm. The film is suitable for use in a wide range of applications, particularly for information storage and display.
