<p>PURPOSE:To reduce damage of a magnetic tape by controlling tension of the tape by controlling a reel motor of a supply reel and also controlling a rotating position of the reel motor of the supply reel. CONSTITUTION:The reel motor 85 of the supply reel 43 is controlled in order to bring the tension of the magnetic tape 45 at a desired value based on a turning position of a tension arm 70, while a reel motor 89 of a take-up reel 44 is controlled so as to control the rotating position or rotating speed of the reel motor 85 of the supply reel 43 to be at a prescribed target value via the magnetic tape 45. By this method, under the state of controlling the tape tension at the prescribed value, a feed amt. of the magnetic tape 45 can be adjusted.</p> |
