PURPOSE:To provide a high-frequency discharging and exciting slab gas laser device, which is compact and has the large output. CONSTITUTION:Each electrode is arranged so that the planar discharging surfaces of the electrodes face to each other. A slab-shaped space is formed between the discharging surfaces. The discharging space is filled with laser gas. The device is driven with a high-frequency power supply, and the laser output is generated in a slab gas laser device. In this device, electrodes (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17) are arranged in an radial pattern so that the slab- shaped discharging space is formed in the radial pattern in the cubic shape and the planar discharging surfaces (20 and 21), (22 and 23), (24 and 25) and (26 and 27) are made to face each other. The neighboring electrodes (10, 17), (11, 12), (13, 14) and (15, 16) at the opposite side of the above described discharging space of the above described electrodes have the same polarity, respectively. |
