PURPOSE:To suppress an increase in memory capacity, to give many effects to an input sound signal, and to select the form of giving sound effect by previously storing programs corresponding to the sound effects to be given to the inputted sound signal. CONSTITUTION:In a data ROM 23, the programs corresponding to the acoustic effects to be given to the input sound signal are previously stored. Once a program for giving a desired sound effect is selected with a ten-key 11, a control part 22 reads the selected program out of the data ROM 23 and a process (the execution of the program) for giving the sound effect to the inputted sound signal by a signal processing means is performed according to the read program. Therefore, even when the kind and form of the effect given to the input sound signal are changed, the memory capacity and operation elements are reducible as compared with a device which is provided with independent programs, one by one. |
