<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate storage and reproduction of the image data and also to prevent the interruption of the data for reproduction by deciding the packet constitution from the header information in a reproduction mode and by carrying out the separation of packets and the reproduction of signals. CONSTITUTION:An image communication system consists of a communication terminal 1, a communication host 2, and a communication network 3 of an ISDN, etc. When the packets are stored, a packet proportional to the bit rate of the data on the voices, images, etc., which are multiplexed by a 1st separating/multiplexing means is constructed by a packet separating/multiplexing means. Then the constitutional conditions of the packet are added to this packet and stored as the multiplexing condition information. When the stored packet is reproduced, the constitutional conditions of the packet are decided by the packet separating/multiplexing means based on the multiplexing condition information. Then the packet are separated from each other and the image and voice data are decoded in accordance with the decided conditions. Therefore the information can be produced and changed at a center and the data can be reproduced with no interruption even when the information are accumulated even with use of the conventional coding system of dynamic images.</p> |
