<p>PURPOSE:To make it easy to recognize and identify a target using a radar which obtains images of the target by means of the Doppler effect caused by rotation or movement of the target. CONSTITUTION:A radar comprises a target tracking means 7, an image reproduction means 5 for reproducing the radar image of a target, a point image response estimation means 8 for estimating the point image response function of the radar, a target aspect angle estimation means 9 for estimating the angle at which the target is looked at from the radar, a target shape data storage means 12 for initially storing data on the three-dimensional shape of the target to be recognized and identified, an RCS calculation means 10 for calculating the distribution of RCS on the target from an estimated target aspect angle by reading the target shape data from the target shape data storage means 12 in sequence, a convolution integration means for generating a dictionary image for recognition and identification, and a radar image display means 6 for simultaneously displaying radar images reproduced from the dictionary image and a received signal which are output in sequence.</p> |
