<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the file capacity of all branch shops by controlling the account numbers, names, dealing contents, etc., of all the branch shops including a main shop by using an index file. CONSTITUTION:As for the format of a file which is held by the system for the latest counting, the index file 209a contains the account of a customer of the main shop as a master record 701 and an account of dealing at a shop other than the main shop as a slave record 711. Therefore, when the transaction account of another branch shop is grasped at, for example, the main shop, the index file 209a is retrieved by using the main shop number and account numbers as keys and then the transaction account of another branch shop can be grasped from the slave record 711. For example, when a bank having dealings with 1,000,000 customers has 3,000,000 accounts, an index file containing only 1,000,000 master records is required.</p> |
