<p>PURPOSE: To detect and display the actual residual amount of the tape of a part in which a video signal is not recorded at the time of reproducing the tape by providing a function detecting and storing the residual amount time of the tape for a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION: After receiving the output of a control signal detection part 20 detecting a signal from a control head 10 and judging the position of the tape, the microcomputer 30 executes fast forwarding and fast winding back to detect the actual residual amount of the tape. At the time of inserting the tape to a deck 70, the microcomputer 30 always displays the actual residual amount time and all the residual amount time on a display unit 50. Thereby the request of a user who desires to know the reproducing time of a part recording a video signal and the real residual amount of the part recording no video signal is satisfied.</p> |
