PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner in which installing space is narrow, its maintenance is easy and a heat exchanging capability of an outdoor heat exchanger is high. CONSTITUTION:An outdoor device 12 is installed at a part facing an indoor side of a column 16 constituting a building separately from an indoor device 52 arranged to be faced against an outer wall 18. Due to this fact, a projecting amount of an air conditioner 10 from an inner surface of the outer wall becomes small by an amount corresponding to non-presence of the outdoor device 12, resulting in that an installing space of an air conditioner 10 is reduced. In addition, since a suction slit 26 and a discharging slit 28 of the outdoor device 12 are spaced apart in a vertical direction of the outdoor device 12 in a predetermined spacing, the discharged surrounding air may not influence against sucked surrounding atmosphere. |
