The seating is made by assembling three cross bars (T1,T2,T3) to a plastics shell (C) to make a single rigid piece. They are fixed to the front and back of the seat and to the back, at zones under stress, and are curved to fit the shell. The cross bars are put through holes in the sides of the seat or moulded with it. Side pieces (F), made in one piece, hold the ends of the cross bars and form arm rests. The shell can be made in material which is reinforced with fibre. |
