<p>PURPOSE: To provide a device combining a matrix type display device and a photosensitive device. CONSTITUTION: The array of a display element 12 and a photosensitive element 18 are connected to the first set 14 of an address conductor, a scanning signal 15 is impressed to this conductor, a data signal from a driving circuit is supplied for the display element 12 through the second sets 16 of the address conductor, and the second sets of the address conductor is connected with a detection circuit 40 detecting that the photosensitive element is irradiated with light. The detection circuit is provided with amplifiers 45 of an electric charge sensing and responding type and this amplifier operates as a buffer amplifier for a data signal from a driving circuit 30. Each amplifier circuit 45 is provided with an output terminal, first and second terminals connected to the conductors of the second set, a switch and a capacitor connected in parallel between the output terminal and the first input terminal. A control circuit 19 periodically opens and closes the switch to impresses a data signal for the display element when the switch is closed to the second input terminal and to impress a reading voltage for reading the state of the photosensitive element when the switch is opened.</p> |
