<p>PURPOSE:To obtain good electrical characteristic by equalizing the plane pressure in the circumferencial direction of a rubber cone in the method of processing end connecting part of a compact type CV cable formed of a plurality of sector cable using a conductor having the sector section as a core wire. CONSTITUTION:First, an external semiconductor layer 1 in the predetermined range is stripped from the end portion of each sector cable to expose a cable insulator layer 3. Thereafter, an insulating tape is wound around this cable insulator layer 3 and these undergo the mold processing to obtain a reinforced insulator layer 4. Next, this reinforced insulator layer 4 is ground until the shape of the section becomes circular and the end portion is tapered. Next, a semiconductor PE tape 5 is wound around the interface between the reinforced insulator layer 4 and external semiconductor layer 1 and these undergo the mold processing. Thereafter, as in the case of the circular cable, this cable is inserted into a rubber cone and the rubber cone is then fixed to an insulator pipe.</p> |
