ELECTRODE CONNECTOR

A connector (10; 100) for use with a tab style biomedical electrode (14) is disclosed. The connector (10; 100) comprises pivotally mounted movable (21; 21A) and fixed jaws (20; 20A) and a spring (23) biasing the jaws toward a closed position. The connector provides a high tab release force and yet provides an acceptably low actuation force. Preferably, the fixed jaw (20) includes a smooth, continuous surface which facilitates insertion of the tab between the jaws of the connector.
