Soiled brine cleaning and reprocessing for food industry

To process soiled brine for recovery, with a salt content of more than 2%, and also treat process water generally free of salt, it is initially cleaned mechanically followed by a biological cleaning and a chemical cleaning action if required. In a third stage, the cleaned process water is sepd. into brine and clean and virtually salt-free process water by reverse osmosis hyperfiltration and/or dialysis.Electrodialysis is used to accelerate the dialysis action. In the third stage, the fractions can be sepd. by reverse osmosis and/or freeze salt removal. The soiled brine is initially collected in a basin, and stabilised to a consistent salt content. On leaving the initial mechanical cleaning stage, the water has a set salt content of max. 0.5%.
