The load selector circuit has a number of fixed contacts (2,3,4) coupled to respective tap-off terminals of the tapped transformer, with movable main and resistance contacts (12,13) for each phase associated with auxiliary main and resistance contacts (14,15) via anti-parallel thyristors (6,7).The main contact (12) is opened before the auxiliary main contact (14) for switching steps in both directions.
