Wankel type rotary piston engine

The engine has a piston carrier (2) rotating about a central axis (1). Rotatable pistons (3) are arranged on the circumferential surface of the piston carrier or in niches (4) made by indentations or recesses.The pistons have lips (7) projecting from their rotational axes (6) which sealingly overlap and stroke an engine housing cover inner side (8). The inner side varies from the overall circular shape and possesses a set chamber (9).
