A toy designed such that a bullet or arrow covered with Velcro<R> engagement cloth is shot from a pistol or bow to a target constituted by Velcro<R> engagement cloth that is to be interlocked with the Velcro<R> engagement cloth used on the bullet or arrow, whereby the bullet or arrow is easily brought into mesh engagement with the target. A conventional toy pistol or bow and arrow has drawbacks in that it is not clear at what rate the bullet or arrow hits a target and that there is a potential danger in use thereof, and the present invention eliminates such drawbacks. The bullet is constituted by a heavy core material, a resilient cushioning material covering the core material and a skin material covering of Velcro<R> engagement cloth to be interlocked with Velcro<R> engagement cloth used to cover the target. This makes it possible for a bullet or arrow shot to the target to be brought into mesh engagement with the target by virtue of mutual engaging forces, whereby it is possible to accurately and easily determine the position where the bullet or arrow hits the target, thus making it possible to provide an interesting toy. |
