<p>When, for example, multipoint connectors or multiple contact strips are pressed into printed circuit boards, the points or strips must be brought as metallic elements into the predetermined position by application of a force against the mechanical resistance of the support part. According to the invention, a force is introduced during pressing by applying vibration to the element, preferably in the ultrasonic range. In a corresponding device provided with a pressing tool which exerts pressure forces on the mechanical elements, the pressing tool is designed as a sonotrode (10) which applies ultra-sounds to the metallic element (5).</p> |
