<p>Disclosed herein is a mono- or multilayered, biaxially oriented film, wherein at least one layer essentially consists of PENBB and wherein at least one surface of the film is coated with an adhesive and/or optically active layer. This film has many advantages, including UV radiation stability, strength, transparency and low color, making it useful in optical, glazing and weathering applications. PENBB as disclosed herein is a copolyester containing units of formula (I).</p> |
