<p>The invention provides a topical composition particularly for ungulate use comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a healing agent particularly garlic oil. The invention also provides such a topical composition with a pharmaceutical acceptable thickener characterised in that the thickener and carrier confer on the composition in situ a viscosity in the range of NLGI 2 at the body heat of the intended animal recipient. The composition is particularly useful for treating skin conditions of agricultural animals.</p> |
