<p>The present invention relates to a device for protecting windows against damages, whereby an extra window unit (6) is positionable on the outside of the window (2) to be protected and whereby a window frame (11) with an extra window pane (7) is included in said extra window unit (6). For being able to quickly remove the extra window unit (6) and quickly replace it with a new, the extra window unit (6) is positionable in an outer frame (9) which is located on and/or adjacent the already present window, the extra window unit (6) can preferably be locked to the outer frame (9) by means of a locking device (10) for preventing unauthorized removal of said extra window unit (6) from said outer frame (9), and the extra window unit (6), if damaged, preferably after unlocking the locking device (10), is removable from the outer frame (9) so that the damaged window unit (6) can be replaced by an undamaged window unit (6).</p> |
