The cone opening angle (8) of the conical pipe collar face (3) relative to the centre axis (7) of the connector pipe (1) is less than 30 degs. The pipe collar face forms at the end a sharp cutting ring edge (9) with the cylindrical inner sleeve face (4). This collar face extends axially over at least 50 percent of the entire axial length of the pipe holder section of the connector pipe. A ring groove on the connector pipe between the rear end of the collar face and a radial stop ring face (5) for the end (6) of the pipe (2) is axially at least so wide that the end side area of a pipe fitted on the connector can be moulded into this groove.
