The invention relates to the production of connecting elements for the releasable connection of two profile pieces (1, 4), of which at least one exhibits an undercut longitudinal groove (2) and the other exhibits a rectangular hollow profile (5), a retaining member (8) being longitudinally displaceably arranged in a housing (6) by a rotatable eccentric (23), and it being possible for the profile pieces (1, 4) to be connected to one another or released from one another via free ends (10), of the retaining member (8), which project out of the hollow profile (5) and engage into the longitudinal groove (2) of the other profile piece (1). For the production of said connecting elements, the invention proposes that the eccentric (23) have, at least in its lower region, a portion (25) having a diameter which is larger than the portion (26) located axially in front of it, that the housing (6) have a bore (22) and the retaining member (8) have a bore (14) which, in the functioning position, is arranged offset with respect to the bore (22) and through which the portion (25) of enlarged diameter can be plugged, it being possible for the bores (14, 22) to be aligned coaxially with one another for the axial introduction of the eccentric (23), and that an additional rotation-limiting element (27) be arranged on the eccentric (23). <IMAGE> |
