The invention relates to a device for placing a seed protection on a growth substrate using seeds of a plant introduced into the sowing protection. The device comprises a tubular case 11 and a clamping ring 14 attached to the lower end of the case for sowing protection and a seed dosing organ. The latter has - inside the case - a rod 12 and a seed container 19. The device for protective sowing is essentially characterized in that the task of the seed dosing organ is functionally coupled with the vibrating movement of the sowing device 10 from an essentially vertical working position to a position turned round through an angle of 90 degrees and back again. Some of the seeds enter the dosing compartment 22 in the seed container 19 when the sowing device 10 swings back to the working position. In order to pass the seeds from the dosing compartment into the tubular case and further down into the sowing protection, the seed dosing organ comprises a pressure device 23,24 that is connected to the rod 12. <IMAGE> |
