Metering of fuel into pre-combustion and main combustion chambers of a portable liquid fuel-driven apparatus

A small hollowed-out space in the housing (14) is used as a fuel evaporation space for a liquid gas cylinder (33) with valve (32). The metering chamber (13) has variable volume and allows the gas to expand via valve (77). A second valve (46) connects this with the main combustion chamber. When the metering chamber is reduced in volume, a residual amount of gas passes through a third valve (51) to the pre-combustion chamber (70). The metering chamber is fashioned as a spring-loaded bellows. As the bellows expand, the second valve opens and as it contracts, the third valve opens.
