<p>The cam assembly has a working portion including a ramp member movably fixed relative to it. The ramp member defines a ramp surface and has a retracted position in which the ramp surface is disposed radially within the nominal lift circle. The ramp surface is out of engagement with the cam follower. The ramp member has an extended position in which the ramp surface is disposed radially outward from the nominal lift circle, and in direct engagement with its respective cam follower.</p> |
