The invention relates to all kinds of fins: for steering, stabilisation, and also for diving for submarines. Its object is to make them more lightweight and less demanding to manufacture by using composite materials. According to the invention, the wing (1') of these fins includes a metal framework (4') integral with the interface (3') with the spindle, allowing them to be directed, beyond which framework it is formed by moulding a foam (5'). The whole is covered with a glass-resin composite shell (6').
