HIGHLY INORGANIC-FILLED POLYOLEFIN RESIN FOAM AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain the title foam excellent in flame retardancy and good in mechanical properties such as tensile strength. CONSTITUTION:The foam is produced by foaming a composition prepared by adding 60-250 pts.wt. inorganic powder to a polyolefin resin composition prepared by adding 10-85 pts.wt. ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer or mixture based thereon to 15-90 pts.wt. linear low-density polyolefin of an MI of 1-10.
