<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a decrease in frictional force in the vacuum by treating the surface of a metallic frictional element in a thickness lower than a specific value by electroless nickel plating in a frictional force transmitter comprising the frictional element of an organic frictional material and the metallic frictional element. CONSTITUTION:A disk 3 on a braked side is formed of an organic frictional material such as a polyimide resin material and a phenol resin material, where the right and left surfaces serve as braked surfaces 5, 5'. Disks 7, 9 on a braking side are formed of metal having a predetermined surface roughness such as soft steel and surface treated steel, and is subject to an electroless nickel plating for the purpose of rust-proofing at the friction surfaces on the side of the metal. In the case where a thickness of the nickel plating is 5mum or less, a surface roughness of nickel can be realized. Consequently, the inherent function of a frictional force transmitter can be exhibited without reducing frictional force.</p> |
