<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the identification of the images of the characters or patterns of a printed matter before being rubbed, although it is produced at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:In a printed matter 1 provided with a screen tint composed of halftone formed on a base material 2, the dots 3a of the area 4 for forming an image thereon are printed with an ink composition containing the material having a greater hardness than that of a coin and the dots 3b of the other area 5 are printed with an ink composition containing the material having a hardness equal to or smaller than that of the coin. This method obviates the need for forming a hiding layer by silk screen printing using silver ink and permits an inexpensive and efficient printing. A glance at the printed matter before being rubbed with a coin makes the image undistinguishable from the screen tint and, by rubbing the same with the coin, the halftone 3a of the image part turns black becoming clearly discernible.</p> |
