摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain an elongation measuring instrument by which the elongation percentage of the feed of material on the outlet side of a rolling mill to the feed on the inlet side is measured in an early stage without dropping measuring accuracy even when the rolling speed is slow. CONSTITUTION:Revolution of rolls 5 and 6 respectively provided on the front and rear stage of a rolling mill 4 to be moved together with the material to be rolled is detected by revolution detectors 7 and 8. The material feed on uncoiling side 1e and coiling side 1d are respectively calculated by a feed calculating means 9a and the calculation is repeated every time when the feed 1e reaches a unit amount alpha. The latest feed between the feeds 1e and 1d are integrated in specific turns by a feed integrating means 10. The elongation percentage epsilon of the material on the coiling side to the uncoiling side is calculated by an elongation percentage calculating means 11 based on integrated feed Le on the uncoiling side and Ld on the coiling side.</p>
