<p>PURPOSE:To obtain adequate hitting performance and maneuver performance regardless of whether a head speed is high or low by setting the weight of the club head at a specified relation ratio to the specific head speed of a swing and setting the centroid of the club head nearer the heel side than the center of a face at the specified relation ratio with the head speed. CONSTITUTION:The weight of the club head H is set by the specified relation ratio to the specific head speed of the swing and the centroid G of the club head H is set nearer the heel Hb side than the center of the face Ha at the specified relation ratio with the head speed. The setting of the weight of the club head H is executed by a relation with which equation I holds in the case of a wood type and formula II holds in the case of an iron type. In the equations, M is the weight (g) of the club head H; V is the head speed (m/s); thetais the loft angle of the club head H. The adequate hitting performance and maneuver performance is thus obtd. regardless of whether the head speed is high or low.</p> |
