<p>PURPOSE: To provide a simple arrangement for locking an ignition switch, which performs entirely mechanical operation out of arrangements for locking the ignition switch of an automobile provided with a selection lever of an automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION: A pulling rope 15 is fixed to an ignition switch 16 and is thread- attached to a lock lever 11 supported in parallel to a swivel axis 2 of a selection lever 1. The lock lever 11 is operated on a swivel lever 9 supported to the swivel axis 23 in the form that a removal of the ignition key cannot be carried out at the time of traveling. A safety function against a stealing is accomplished in the P-position of the selection lever 1.</p> |
