摘要 PURPOSE: To enhance a drivability by evaluating a probability capable of completing a usual upshift selected based on a present vehicle operating condition, only starting the realizable shift and evaluating an execution of the shift prior to starting. CONSTITUTION: An output signal from input and output shaft speed sensors 98, 100, a driver operation board 108, a pedal position sensor 152, etc., is inputted to an electronic control device 106 in an automatic prior selection and a partially automated shift execution control device 104 for controlling a partially automated mechanical transmission 10. After upshifts, the minimum acceptable vehicle acceleration AO is determined and a desirable shift from a current connection ration to a target gear ratio is determined. A presumed driving wheel torque TO for maintaining the minimum vehicle acceleration AO at the present vehicle operating condition is determined and it is judged whether or not the upshift selected can be accomplished as a function of the torque TO, the target gear ration and the maximum effective torque to execute the shift.
