PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of color spots in production of ceramic products such as beta-alumina pipe, etc., by removing iron-based impurities admixed from a raw substance and facilities of process. CONSTITUTION:In producing a beta-alumina pipe, a wet type sieving process 3 is installed between a wet type blending process 2 and a granulating process or a drying and powdering process 4 of a raw material 1. Wet type iron eliminating processes A and B are laid before and behind the wet type sieving process 3. A dry type sieving process 5 is set between the granulating or drying and powdering process 4 and a molding process 6. Dry type iron eliminating processes C and D are arranged before and behind the dry type sieving process 5. The wet iron elimination is carried out by magnetic force having >=12,000 gauss and the dry type iron elimination is done by magnetic force having >=6,000 gauss. |
