PURPOSE:To provide the finely segmenting method of waste tires at the time of effectively utilizing the waste tires as fuel. CONSTITUTION:The waste tire 22 transported in a posture of a traveling state is detained to a positioning end and is cut along its inner peripheral edge to a sharp angle at a required angle from the tread surface of the waste tire 22 on the rear side in the part slightly lower than the perpendicular normal of the waste tire 22 at the positioning end. The upper part of the waste tire 22 is pressed at the front end of the cut part on the rear side of the waste tire 22 after the cutting, by which this part is guided to a lower biting roller part 10. The inside surface of the waste tire 22 is then expanded downward to a projecting arc shape with this inside surface as the front surface by this biting roller part 20. The expanded waste tire 22 is longitudinally cut to many band-shaped plates by means of two stages of upper and lower comb-shaped cutters 15. These band-shaped plates are transversely cut at a require length to fine pieces. |
