COMPOSITION FOR LOCAL APPLICATION FOR PROTECTING FROM ULTRAVIOLET RAY

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide an odorless sunscreen which protects human skin from UV rays and is further more effective than titanium dioxide and is nontoxic and harmless even when it is swallowed. CONSTITUTION: This compsn. contains a reaction product of calcium compd. with citric acid in a cosmetically allowed vehicle and is used to protect a skin from UV rays by locally applying on a skin. The reaction product is obtd. in 2.50:2 to 2.95:2 molar ratio of calcium to citrate, and the reaction product in 1% water slurry has about 4 to <7 pH at 25 deg.C. The reaction product is compounded in an effective amt. to protect a skin from UV rays when the comspn. is locally applied on a skin.
