ANGLED DISPLAY PACKAGE FOR COILABLE TAPE RULES AND THE LIKE

A display package for coilable tape rules and like thick products includes a generally planar member of paperboard and an enclosure formed from two cooperatively dimensioned, transparent synthetic resin enclosure elements defining a cavity therebetween. Each enclosure element has a cavity defining pocket with a transverse wall which is inclined outwardly relative to the paperboard member in at least one axis of the package so that the top wall defining the enclosure on the front of the package is inclined relative to the principal plane of the package. The enclosure elements preferably have flanges about the periphery thereof which interfit and are bonded together to secure the entire assembly.
