MANUFACTURING METHOD OF POLE GROUP FOR LEAD BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce defective welding occuring in the manufacturing process and to improve the work efficiency, by performing argon arc welding between the strap and the pole board tab in specific range of a counter pole current against positive pole current. CONSTITUTION:Lead or lead alloy having high thermal concentration and low melting point while requiring the cleaning effect can be easily welded by argon arc welding in the range where the counter pole current is 30-60% of positive pole current, while the consumption of electrode due to heating caused by the current flowing from basic member toward the electrode can be reduced. Consequently defective welding can be reduced while the work efficiency can be improved.
