PURPOSE:To apply a coating to a surface of a screw rotor without an intrusion of bubbles in the surface or inner part of the coating to prevent an occurrence of sink marks or voids. CONSTITUTION:In a method for applying a resin coating to a screw rotor 1 formed by providing a shaft 2 on the center of rotation and a plurality of screwed tooth parts 3 on the periphery thereof, the screw rotor 1 is set to a mold 7 supported by a jig 8, and in this state, a resin is injected into the mold 7 from a resin injection port 19, which is disposed just under the center of the wall thickness of the tooth part 3, to be applied as a coating to the surface of the screw rotor 1. |
