DEHYDRATOR FOR DROP MARKING OF BOTTLE AND CAN

PURPOSE: To provide a dewatering device for effectively removing the water from an area of a container conveyed on a high speed beverage packing conveyor for the marking. CONSTITUTION: An air knife assembly is disclosed for removing the water and soap lubricants from a certain area of a bottle or can 12 which is to be labeled or coded by using a drop marking equipment. The air knife 26 is positioned at the correct pitch, roll and yaw angles to remove the water from a desired area only. In this occasion, the label which has been applied but not yet bonded to the bottle or can 12 is prevented from being damaged. The dewatering ensures the accurate marking of the products.
