PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device which can supply paper sheets easily and properly and prevents the generation of paper feed fault. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet is supplied to a sheet accommodation part, a CPU 601 memorizes the size of the supplied sheet and the sheet accommodation stage for supplying the paper sheet to an image forming means in a RAM 604, and judges if the operation is in an image formation or not, by an image forming means. When it is judged that the operation is in the image formation, the sheet accommodation stage where the sheet is exhausted is detected, and the sheet size is detected on the basis of the sheet size memorized in the RAM 604. It is judged if the sheet supply is enabled or not in the previously set sheet accommodation stage, and if the supply is enabled, a sheet supply signal is sent out. A display part 611 receives the sheet supply signal and displays the fact of requisition of the sheet supply. |
