<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a castable heat insulating material excellent in plasticity, capable of easily repairing several kinds of heat insulation or cold insulation parts and having excellent preservable property by mixing a water based binding material and an inorganic filler with a pulverized inorganic fiber-made molded goods or the like. CONSTITUTION:The inorganic filler (e.g. bentonite) of 10-40 pts.wt. is added into 100 pts.wt. granular body having 6-20mm average particle diameter and obtained by pulverizing a material mainly containing the inorganic fiber-made molded goods (e.g. a material made by combining rock wool with a binder and molding) and/or a molded scrap having <=100kg/m<3> bulk density and, if necessary, supplemented with an inorganic fiber by a crusher and is uniformly mixed by a mixer such as an omni-mixer. The castable heat insulating material is obtained by adding 10-60 pts.wt. water based binding material with water thereinto and kneading. The heat insulating material has excellent workability, low thermal conductivity and excellent heat insulation because the gas permeability between fibers is suppressed and excellent adhesiveness.</p> |
