PURPOSE:To provide sufficient reinforcing force for stopping elongation of a hand belt and improve adhesion to canvas by using a metallic flat belt having a plurality of punched holes to put adhesives therein as a reinforcing material to be buried in a core body of nearly C-shaped section and constituted of a multilayer canvas. CONSTITUTION:A hand belt 10 is provided with a core body 40 which is formed out of a plurality of pieces (3-7 pieces) of canvas through adhesives 30 and into a nearly C-shaped section, and a decorative rubber layer 60 is laminated on the outer face of the core body 40. In this case, a metallic flat belt 50 which is constituted of a steel tape and extended along the lengthwise direction of the hand belt 10 is provided as a reinforcing material in the center part between laminated canvas 20 in the core body 40 so as to obtain sufficient reinforcing force against elongation. This metallic flat belt 50 is formed so that many punched holes 51 are provided thereon at regular intervals, hereby the adhesives 30 spread on the canvas 20 of the upper and lower layers of the metallic flat belt 50 is put in the holes 51, and hence adhesive strength of the canvas 20 to the metallic flat belt 50 can be improved. |
